Connect Sendinblue to Tiendanube

This guide will walk you through the steps to quickly become familiar with the Sendinblue-Tiendanube integration.

This application allows you to connect Sendinblue with your Tiendanube.

With Sendinblue integration, track your customers' key interactions with your Tiendanube and implement personalized marketing actions to increase your sales.

In just a few minutes, import data from your store to our platform, every time a customer subscribes, pays, completes, or cancels an order.

Before you start

  • In order to use Sendinblue, you need to be registered as a user of Sendinblue. If you are not yet, complete the form by clicking the Sign up option.

  • Then you will need to have a Public API Key / Site ID and Private API Keys. If you do not have these credentials, you can follow this guide.

Installation and onboarding

To install Sendinblue, you must log in with your credentials in Tiendanube. Next, click the following link http://www.tiendanube.com/tienda-aplicaciones-nube/5670/install and accept the permissions that it requests.

You will see the welcome screen. Enter your Sendinblue credentials.

💡 Good to know
It is necessary to have a Public API Key / Site ID and Private API Keys. If you do not have these credentials, you can follow this guide to obtain them.

Click Ingresar to start the process of synchronizing your sales and customers.

💡 Good to know
From time to time, a scheduled task will be executed. Its objective is to synchronize your clients and sales with the Sendinblue platform. You will notice the progress of the import until the process is complete. If you close the browser tab, the migration will continue its progress normally until it fully impacts the Sendinblue platform.
❗️ Important
Before syncing with Tiendanube, you must have already created your first automation workflow. If you haven't done it yet, you can follow this guide to create it.

Synchronization with Sendinblue

At this time your sales and customers will be synchronizing.

Perfect! The import of your sales and customers has been completed. You can access your Sendinblue account to see the corresponding information.

💡 Good to know
Remember that you can always go back to the screen to enter your API key. To do this, simply go to My apps in the left menu of your Tiendanube admin account > Sendinblue > Configure app.

Configuration and use

Customer flow

Every time a customer makes a purchase, important metrics or key activities are immediately synced with Sendinblue.

Below is a brief summary of the information you will be tracking:

1 Profile Data Tracking information such as name, email, phone number, or other profile attributes
2 Placed Order Historic When an order successfully processes on your system. This order is available in the history and was synchronized to your Sendinblue account during the installation of the app.
3 Placed Order Real time When an order successfully processes on your system in real time.
4 Ordered Product Historic An event for each item in a processed order. This article is available in the history and was synchronized to your Sendinblue account during the installation of the app.
5 Ordered Product Real time An event for each item in a processed order in real-time.
6 Cancelled Order Historic When an order is canceled. This order is available in the history and was synchronized to your Sendinblue account during the installation of the app.
7 Cancelled Order Real time When an order is canceled in real-time.
8 Refunded Order Historic When a customer’s order is refunded. This order is available in the history and was synchronized to your Sendinblue account during the installation of the app.
9 Refunded Order Real time When a customer’s order is refunded in real-time.
10 Fulfilled Order Historic When an order is sent to the customer. This order is available in the history and was synchronized to your Sendinblue account during the installation of the app.
11 Fulfilled Order Real time When an order is sent to the customer in real time.
12 Active Onsite Real time When someone visits your website.
13 Viewed Product Real time When someone views a product.
14 Added to Cart Real time When someone adds an item to their cart.
15 Started Checkout Real time

When someone lands on the checkout page.

Admin flow

Once you have successfully completed the installation and configuration of the app in your store, important metrics and key customer activities in your store will be immediately synchronized with Sendinblue.

Once logged into your Sendinblue account, click Automation. Go to Logs > Event Logs and you will be able to see the synchronized events from your store.

💡 Good to know
This procedure can be repeated for each activity of a profile you want to consult.

FAQs

Why aren't client metrics syncing with Sendinblue?

  • The credentials configured in onboarding are invalid. Although it is very difficult for this to happen since the corresponding validations exist, it is a possibility that you should keep in mind, if it happens, verify that the correct credentials have been used in the onboarding and that all the steps have been carried out correctly.
  • The app is uninstalled/inactive. In your Tiendanube administrative panel, go to the section My applications and verify that the app is installed. If it is installed and the problem persists, you can try uninstalling and installing again.

How to uninstall the Sendinblue integration with your Tiendanube?

If you will no longer be tracking your customers from Sendinblue, you can go to the My Apps section of your store manager and uninstall the app.
