Get your WhatsApp Business account verified

❗️ Important
As long as your WhatsApp Business Account has not been verified by Facebook services, you can only send a limited number of messages to a limited number of WhatsApp users. The verification can take up to 30 days on Facebook's side. Sendinblue is not responsible for the verification of your WhatsApp Business Account. 

Before your start 

Get your WhatsApp Business account verified

Once you have scanned all the required official documents:

  1. Access the Security Centre of your WhatsApp Business account settings. 
  2. From the Verification for YourCompany section, click Start Verification

  3. Enter your business details and click Next
  4. The Verify YourCompany page opens giving you prerequisites before the business verification process starts. Click Get Started.
  5. Select from the list the country where your business is located and click Next
  6. Enter your business details such as name, address, website, or phone number and click Next. Some of the fields may already be filled. 
  7. Facebook automatically search for your business in its records and displays a list of busineses that correspond to the details you entered. Choose your business from the list or choose My organisation isn't listed if you cannot find it. 
  8. Upload the requested official documents that will help verify your business details if Facebook could not find your business in its records and click Next
  9. Depending if your business has already been verified or not, you will either need to:
    • Choose a verification method that will check if you are the person requesting verification. You can either receive a code by Text Message, Email or Voice call.
    • Click Verify us... .
  10. Type your verification code and click Submit.

The Facebook team will review your documents and you will receive a confirmation when your business is verified. The verification process can take up to 30 days. Sendinblue is not responsible for the verification of your WhatsApp Business account. You can also check your verification status in your Security Centre.

Once your WhatsApp Business Account is verified and before sending your first WhatsApp campaign, check your messaging limit.  

Check your Messaging limit 

You can check your WhatsApp messaging limit from the Phone numbers tab of WhatsApp Business Manager. The number of WhatsApp messages you can send per day depends first on the verification status of your WhatsApp Business account:

  • When it has not been verified yet, the mention Sandboxed appears in the Messaging column. Your business can only send 50 messages per day for testing purposes.
  • Once it has been verified, the mention 1k customers/24h appears in the Messaging column. Your business can send around 1k messages per day. wa_business-manager_EN-US.png

After that, you will be able to progressively increase the number of messages you can send per day from 1k to 10k, 100k and then illimited if the reputation of your phone number used for campaigns is good. Your limit is now related to your phone number reputation and not to your WhatsApp Business account verification anymore.
