In this article, we will explain what to do if you encounter an error while connecting or using the Facebook Messenger integration for Sendinblue Chat.
The different error messages are listed below and, for each error, the corresponding solution.
⚠️ Due to Facebook spam-prevention policy, you cannot resume this conversation, only John Doe can.
To prevent abuse, Facebook only gives you 24 hours to answer a client's message. This restriction applies to any third-party app like Sendinblue Chat, but not to Facebook's website and apps. So don't worry if you haven't been fast enough to reply to a client, you can simply head to facebook.com.
⚠️ You've reached the limit of messages your Facebook Page can send. Your quota will be reset within 24 hours max.
To prevent abuse, Facebook limits the number of messages a Page can send per day. This number is calculated by Facebook based on the number of users who interact with your Page, and applies to Facebook and third-party apps alike. Since your Page will be blocked from messaging (for up to 24 hours) once the limit is reached, we start warning you when 90% of your quota is used so that you can adjust your messaging accordingly.
⚠️ The Facebook Page is already configured on another account.
A Page can only be connected to one Sendinblue account. Please ask your colleagues whether the Page can be disconnected from the other Sendinblue account, so that you can reconnect it to the account of your choice. If you're unable to find out to find out to which Sendinblue account your Page is connected to, please contact our support team.
⚠️ Integration with Facebook got canceled.
It looks like you've hit the wrong button 😉. This error occurs if you press "Cancel" while authorizing Sendinblue to access your Page. Just retry to connect your Page.
⚠️ We were unable to retrieve the required Facebook page permissions.
⚠️ We have been denied access.
These errors occur when you don't select any Page while authorizing Sendinblue on Facebook's website. Please retry and select at least one Page.
⚠️ It looks like the Sendinblue app is no longer installed on your Facebook account.
⚠️ Our app can no longer access your Facebook account.
These errors occur when you, or one of your colleagues, remove the authorization you gave Sendinblue to access your Page. Please reconnect your Page to authorize us again.
⚠️ It seems your password has been changed.
When you change your Facebook password, your integrations might be disconnected for security reasons. Please reconnect your Page to fix this issue.
⚠️ Facebook Page not found.
This rare error may occur when you try to disconnect a Page which has been deleted from Facebook's end. Refreshing the Pages list should fix this problem.
⚠️ We seem to have encountered an issue in your Facebook account.
⚠️ Your account has been flagged by Facebook security.
This error occurs when there is an issue with your Facebook account, unrelated to Sendinblue. We don't have control over this—please sign into Facebook and follow the resolution steps. Once the issue is fixed, you can then retry connecting your Page to Sendinblue.
⚠️ User associated with the Facebook page does not have an appropriate role on the Page.
One of your colleagues must have removed you from the Page's admins. Unfortunately this isn't something we can help you with—please ask your colleagues to find out what happened.
