We've divided the [New design] Drag & Drop Editor articles into the following parts:

To start with take a look at our detailed video on how to use the Drag & Drop Editor [New design] 🚀. Style and content blocks are explained at the beginning of the video!

What is a Style block?

A Style block is a structural block consisting of one or more columns to which content blocks can be added.

In the example below, the Style block (in blue) contains 4 content blocks (in yellow) in 2 different columns: 2 images and 2 text blocks.Layout_and_blocks.png

You can either create your own style by drag and dropping the content blocks or use one of our 3 predefined styles of one, two, and three columns:

You can always add, remove or resize columns by clicking the style block and using the sliders to move them and the +/- buttons to add columns:

You can also click Add a background image to display the Content library and use your files or stock images as a background.
If you want to use an image directly from the internet, paste the link to this image in the Insert image field.

Block Settings

The Vertical alignment setting allows you to change the position of your contents inside the block: top, middle, or bottom.

You can also change the Inner spacing of the content blocks in the selected Style block by using the up and down arrows or entering the spacing you want.

Spacing

The Spacing setting allows you to add:

  • Padding which is the space between the element and the border. It is around all four sides of the content and each side size can be changed.
  • Margin which is the space between the border and the next element of your design. It is around the top and bottom sides of the content and each side size can be changed.

Toggle the Padding or Margin button to enable or disable them in one click. Choose which padding or margin size you would like to add for each side of your content by using the +/- buttons or writing the desired size in the text field.
