Contact assignment step in Automation automates the process of assigning leads as they are added to your CRM contacts.
You can assign leads depending on a certain number of attributes, such as company size, territory, product interest, lead score, and more.
To do so, you need to add a step Assign the contact to a user when building your workflow in Automation section.
