Integrating GetSiteControl with SendinBlue

Overview

Syncing GetSiteControl’s widgets with your SendinBlue account allows you to collect customer email information without the need to manually import and export data.  Simply choose the necessary mailing list and GetSiteControl will add every new email subscriber to this list automatically.

GetSiteControl offers:

  • Subscribe widget
  • Contact widget
  • Survey widget

GetSiteControl allows you to easily create beautiful custom contact forms, online surveys, lead forms, promo bars and pop-ups.

Good to know: Integrations feature is available for Premium GetSiteControl plans only.

Before getting started

You will need to gather the following information prior to setting up the integration:

  • SendinBlue account credentials. If you don't have one, sign up for free.
  • Copy your SendinBlue API v3 key.  Follow the instructions on how to do so here.
  • GetSiteControl account credentials. If you don't have one, sign up here.

Connect the integration

Once you have copied your SendinBlue API v3 key, log into your GetSiteControl account. Go to the Site Settings.

Open the Integrations tab.

Find SendinBlue in the list of applications and click Connect.

A pop up will display where you'll paste your API v3 key, then click on Save.

You can see that SendinBlue is now connected. Here you can disconnect it at any time if necessary.

Sync Widget(s) with your SendinBlue contact lists

Go to the list of your widgets, find the one you want to connect to SendinBlue and click on the Edit button. Go to the Integrations tab.

Select SendinBlue from the drop-down list under Third-party integrations.

Use the second drop-down menu to choose one of your existing SendinBlue lists.  New GetSiteControl subscribers will be copied directly into the selected SendinBlue list.

Click on the Map widget fields link to ensure the widget fields are correctly matched to those of your SendinBlue list's contact attributes. Here you can choose what information and fields you would like GetSiteControl to link to SendinBlue.

Click on the OK button to save the changes. The widget is now connected to SendinBlue. Every time a website visitor submits their details via the widget on your website, the information will be instantly exported to SendinBlue.
