In this guide, we will explore your Facebook Ads report and how to analyze the performance information.
The report page will be available once a Facebook Ad is approved and starts running. You may view the number of ad impressions and clicks from the list of ads.
To see an ad’s detailed report, click on its Report link.
Sample Facebook Ads report
In your report, you’ll be able to see a full summary of your ad’s performance.
- Status: This displays whether your ad is currently Active, Suspended, Completed or Archived.
- Duration: This is the timeframe when your ad will be displayed to your audience on Facebook.
- Audience: This notes the people your ad is targeting: existing SendinBlue contact list(s) and/or an audience similar to your SendinBlue contacts.
- Lists: These are the lists used to build your audience.
- Budget: This is the maximum amount that may be spent to display the ad to your audience. This is the amount paid when the ad was scheduled.
- Amount Spent: This is the portion of your maximum budget that has been spent to date.
- Average Daily Budget: This is the average amount spent on a daily basis to display this ad.
- Preview: You can preview your current design for this ad.
An overview of your ad’s performance stats are also available in the report (next to the summary). Here, you can see how effective your ad has been during a certain period.
- People Reached: The total number of Facebook users who saw your ad.
- Impressions: The total number of times your ad was displayed. (For example, a person who saw your ad 3 times would be reported as 1 person reached and as 3 impressions.)
- Clicks: This is the number of times people clicked on your ad, which may include multiple clicks per person.
- Cost Per Click: The average amount you have spent per click on this ad.
- Click Through Rate: The percentage of all ad viewers who clicked your ad.
- Unique Clicks: The number of unique people who clicked your ad at least one time.
Below the summary and statistics, you will find a graph displaying the statistics in terms of ad impressions and clicks on your ad.
These graphs provide a visual overview of the statistics, so you can review your ad’s success and help you optimize your results!
If your ad is doing well, try creating a similar ad for an extended duration and/or increased budget.
