You can create internal tasks associated with a specific CRM contact or not. Each task may be assigned a due date and category to help organize your workflow and achieve your objectives.
You can create a task either via CRM contacts section or via Tasks section.
Create a new task via CRM contacts section
- In the CRM platform> CRM contacts, click on the email address of your contact. You will be then directed to the contact's details page
- Click on Create task at the right side of your screen
- Choose a category for your task: Email, Call, Todo, Meeting, Lunch, or Deadline
- Choose a date, a time and a duration for your task
- If needed:
- Add a custom title for your task. Placeholder text is the default value if no value is specified
- Compose a note
- Assign the task if needed. "Unassigned" is the default value
- Click Save
Your task will now be integrated into the contact's activity and will be accessible at any time from Tasks section.
Create a new task via Tasks section
- In the CRM platform> Tasks, click on Create a task on the left side of your screen
- Choose a category for your task: Email, Call, Todo, Meeting, Lunch, or Deadline
- Choose a date, a time and a duration for your task
- If needed:
- Add a custom title for your task. Placeholder text is the default value if no value is specified
- Compose a note.
- Enter a contact email address if you want to link your task to a specific contact
- Assign the task. "Unassigned" is the default value
- Click Save
Good to know: You can edit or delete your task at any time either from the contact's details page or from Tasks section.
