Create a CRM note

In this article, we will explain how to create, edit, and delete a note in your CRM. 

You can add notes to a deal or contact history to help you keep a record of your interactions with leads.

Create a note

From the Kanban view

To add a note to a deal from the Kanban view:

  1. Go to CRM > Deals
  2. Select the Kanban view Kanban_view_EN.jpg
  3. Click the three_dots_icon.png icon next to a deal name
  4. Select Add a note

  5. Write your note
  6. Add formatting to your note if necessary
  7. Click Save note

From a deal or contact details page

To add a note to a deal or contact history:

  1. Go to the desired deal or contact details page
  2. Click Add a note

  3. Write your note
  4. Add formatting to your note if necessary
  5. Click Save note

Filter your notes

To filter the notes added to a deal or contact history:

  1. Go to the desired contact or deal details page
  2. In the deal or contact history, click the All activities filter
  3. Select Notes

Edit a note

To edit a note added to a deal or contact history:

  1. Go to the desired contact or deal details page
  2. Under the note you want to edit, click Edit

  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save note

Delete a note

To delete a note added to a deal or contact history:

  1. Go to the desired contact or deal details page
  2. Under the note you want to delete, click Delete

  3. Click Delete again to confirm
