Feature access permissions for additional account users

Overview

If you are a Sendinblue account owner, you have the option to add additional users to your account and choose which features they may have access to and permission to use.

Users without permission to access specific features will see a lock icon next to that feature.

The account owner can choose from the following features to give access to another user:

  1. Email campaigns
  2. SMS campaigns
  3. Contacts
  4. Templates
  5. Facebook ads
  6. Retargeting ads
  7. Landing pages
  8. API keys
  9. User management

Good to know:   By default, all additional users invited to the account will have access to all features.  However, they will not have permission to view/edit the company profile, plan selection, billing or payment information.

1. Email campaigns

There are two types of permissions for Email campaigns. The first permission is to create/edit/delete the Email campaigns. The second permission is to send/schedule/suspend the campaign.  Users who do not have permission to send the campaign will not be able to re-queue the campaigns either.

Users without either of these permissions will still be able to see the campaign preview and reports data.

2. SMS campaigns

There are two types of permissions for SMS campaigns. The first permission is to create/edit/delete the SMS campaigns.  The second permission is to send/schedule/suspend the campaign.  Users who do not have permission to send the campaign will not be able to re-queue the campaigns either.

Users without either of these permissions will still be able to see the campaign preview and reports data.

3. Contacts

There are multiple levels within Contacts that the account owner can choose from to give additional user(s) permission to access:

  • View
This will allow users to show/hide the contacts among other users within the account. This permission also allows users to view the contacts in the CRM application. If users do not have this permission, they will not be able to view any contacts within the account.
  • Create, edit, delete
This permission allows users to make changes to contacts one by one on the marketing platform like values of the attributes, lists the contacts already belong to and transactional attributes. By default, users with this permission also have "View" permission. Users with this permission will also be able to make the changes in contacts under the CRM application.
  • Import
This permission allows users to make bulk changes to contacts, like values of the attributes, lists the contacts already belong to and transactional attributes via import. By default, users with this permission also have "View" permission. This permission also allows users to import contacts into the CRM app.
  • Export
This permission allows users to export a CSV file of contacts with contact segmentation, lists export, daily export and openers & clickers export in campaign reports.  By default, users with this permission also have "View" permission.
  • List and attribute management
This permission allows users to manage the parameters of lists including attribute management of the contacts.  Users without this permission will not be able to create a new list for contacts and they will not be able to access any type of attributes.
  • Contact forms
This permission will allow users to design, manage subscriptions, unsubscriptions and update contacts forms.  Users without this permission will not be able to access the forms at all.

4. Templates

There are two types of permissions for Templates.  The first permission is to create/edit/delete the Template and the second permission is to activate/deactivate the template.

Users without these permissions can still see the template preview.

5. Facebook ads

There are two types of permissions in Facebook ads.  The first permission is to create/edit/delete the Facebook ads and the second permission is to schedule/launch/pause the ads.

Users without these permissions can still see the preview of the Facebook ads and reports data.

6. Retargeting ads

There are two types of permissions in Retargeting ads.  The first permission is to create/edit/delete the Retargeting ads and the second permission is to schedule/launch/pause the ads.

Users without these permissions can still see the preview of the Retargeting ads and reports data.

7. Landing pages

Users with Landing pages permission will be able to design, publish and unpublish.  Users without this permission will not be able to access the landing pages.

8. API key

Users with this permission will be able to access, view and use the API keys within the account on the platform.  Users without API key permission may still be able to use the API keys if they're provided to them from an outside source (i.e. the account manager).  They will just be unable to access the API keys through the platform.

9. User management

Users with this permission will be able to manage the invitations, cancellations, and permissions of existing or new members.  Users without this permission would be able to see the list of the users available in the account but they will not be able to make any changes in pending invitations, membership or permissions to the users.

Good to know:

Invited users are not allowed to manage the plans and payment methods so your account should have a valid payment method to avoid the suspension of Facebook and Retargeting ads.

Users without permission to manage the Email campaigns or SMS campaigns or Templates are not able to manage Default settings, Google analytics, Social channels, Sender, Domain and IP management available on the platform. To manage these details a user must have permissions on at least one of the features.

Users without permission to manage the contacts are not able to manage the Test list on the platform to check EMail campaigns. To add new users to this list they need permission to create/edit/delete the contacts.

Users without permission to manage the contacts are not able to manage the Contacts attributes or Global computations.
