How to create a new SendinBlue contact/subscriber from a chat
The Chat chatbox will soon be discontinued and replaced by the Conversations app. You will no longer be able to receive messages from your customers via the Chat chatbox. However, the Chat app will remain available for a few months to give you access to your past chats if needed. Conversations offers many features such as chatbot, targeted chats, mobile apps, or saved replies that will help you sell more online. When a customer sends you their email address using the chat widget, you can add it to your contacts list directly from the chat.
💡 Good to know
Ask your chat customer for permission before adding their address to your contacts list and let them know what kind of messages they will receive.
To create a new contact:
Simply click on the email address sent by your customer
Select Confirm on the dialog box that appears
Now, your chat customer will be identified by this email address in the Chat platform.
