When a customer sends you their email address using the chat widget, you can add it to your contacts list directly from the chat.
Good to know: Ask your chat customer for permission before adding their address to your contacts list and let them know what kind of messages they will receive.
To create a new contact:
- Simply click on the email address sent by your customer
- Select Confirm on the dialog box that appears
Now, your chat customer will be identified by this email address in the Chat platform.
