Change your chat status between offline or online

❗️ Important
The Chat chatbox will soon be discontinued and replaced by the Conversations app. You will no longer be able to receive messages from your customers via the Chat chatbox. However, the Chat app will remain available for a few months to give you access to your past chats if needed. Conversations offers many features such as chatbot, targeted chats, mobile apps, or saved replies that will help you sell more online. To discover the Conversations app, check our dedicated article Change the way you communicate with your customers.

When you're using the chat, you can switch your status from available (online) to unavailable (offline).

To change your chat status:  

  1. In the Chat tab, go to the left menu  
  2. Click on the button above your name to display a list of the possible statuses 
  3. Select your desired status


💡 Good to know
When all operators are offline, you can decide whether or not to hide the chat widget on your website. To do so, edit your Chatbox Availability settings
