Change my chat notification settings

SendinBlue’s chat widget allows you to control when you would like to receive a notification.

You can choose to get notified either by email or via clickable messages that pop up directly on your desktop or mobile device.

Email notifications

To indicate when you would like to receive an email notification from Sendinblue, here's how to proceed.

  1. Go to Chat tab > Settings
  2. Go to Notifications
  3. You may choose to receive an email notification when:
    • A new conversation is created
    • A new message is received while you are offline
    • A conversation is assigned to you

Good to know: If you receive several messages in a row from the same contact, you will get an email containing the first message received per 15-minute time frame.

Browser notifications

If you have notifications turned on, you can choose to get browser notifications each time you receive a new message from a visitor.

Here is how to turn browser notifications on for SendinBlue.

  1. Go to Chat tab > Settings
  2. Go to Notifications
  3. Click on Enable browser notifications
  4. Click on Allow

You will automatically get a pop-up notification each time you receive a new message from your website visitors.
