Host your landing page on your domain - OVH example

Overview

This tutorial is dedicated to hosting your landing page on your subdomain on OVH.

We recommend that you use your main domain name and create a subdomain dedicated to hosting your landing pages. Be as transparent as possible, for example: pages.yoursite.com.

Good to know:
- You shouldn't use a domain or subdomain used elsewhere. For example, it should not be your website's domain, the domain used for your messaging service or the subdomain associated with your dedicated IP.
- When hosting a landing page on your own domain, please remember to use a multi-page landing page. Follow this guide to learn more about managing sub-pages within your multi-page landing page.

Create two new DNS records on OVH

In this example, we will host our landing page on subdomain pages.sendinbluecc.ovh.

1. Login to your OVH account.

2. Go to Domains tab, then select your domain name and click on DNS Zone.

3. Click on the Add an entry button to add new records. A pop up will display as shown below.

Select TXT, then click on Next.

  • Sub-domain: sib-domain
  • TTL: type default configuration (usually it is 0)
  • Value: paste the value displayed on your SendinBlue account

Click on Next, then on Confirm.

Click again on Add an entry to create the second record.

Select CNAME, then click on Next.

  • Sub-domain: pages
  • TTL: type default configuration (usually it is 0)
  • Value: cname.sibpages.com. (Do not forget the dot at the end)

Click on Next, then on Confirm.

Click again on Add an entry to create the second record.

Verify DNS propagation

Your modifications will be applied immediately to the DNS zone, but please remember that propagation may take up to 72 hours.

Return to your SendinBlue account to verify DNS propagation.
