When you create a workflow, you will want to test it. SendinBlue offers a “Test” function when you edit your workflow:
When you click on the icon, a pop-up will appear. Enter the email address you want to use for the test and click on save.
You can also ignore steps such as "Wait for a specific time period" by checking the box "Skip the waiting period" shown in our example.
For steps such as "wait until" and "if/else conditions", don’t forget to manually trigger the event with your test email.
Similarly, if there are conditions in your workflow, make sure you select the condition in advance. For example, if you have an if/else condition with a contact attribute (if the contact is a woman, for example), enter the attribute in question beforehand (in this example, Gender="Female").
Note: You need to activate your workflow for your test to work. You’ll find your test results in the menu Logs(1), Workflow logs(2), with the word "(Test)" once your contact has entered the workflow.
