How do I add phone numbers to my contact database?

To include a contact in an SMS campaign, ensure that a mobile phone number is included in their contact information within Sendinblue in the SMS attribute field (including the + sign and the country code).

There are currently three ways to add a phone number to the SMS attribute.

  1. Manually fill in the SMS attribute for an existing or new contact. Learn more in Add a single contact to Sendinblue.
  2. Import contact lists that include SMS numbers for your contacts. Learn more in Importing your contacts into Sendinblue
  3. Incorporate an SMS field into your sign-up forms. Learn more in our series of articles about subscription forms.

❗️ Important
Please note that the phone number is a unique entry in the contact database. You cannot have two contacts with the same phone number.
